UTA - Chinese in Taiwan

Join this UTA Faculty-Led Study Abroad in Taiwan to explore and experience the rich and diverse Chinese/Taiwanese cultures, both ancient and modern, that are well-preserved. Discover the ancient past that’s just under the surface of this modern country’s iconic skyline and observe social and economic change up close.
Dates: July 1 - July 21, 2023
- Note that flights depart on June 30 for arrival on July 1.
Course: CHIN 2310 Chinese Culture in the World (3 credits)
Cost: Program Fee of approximately $2,100 + UTA Tuition
- Program Fee INCLUDES: 3-hour language/culture classes 5 days/week for 3 weeks. Classes are taught by the faculty at FJU. 2-weekend excursions to neighboring sites
- Does not include: Housing (estimated $630), Food (estimated $280), Airfare (estimated $1700), required UT System Study Abroad Insurance ($57 for 3 weeks), UTA Study Abroad Application Fee ($75), books/materials, and incidentals
- Financial aid is applicable, and students can apply for the International Education Fee Scholarship (IEFS) and other scholarships for study abroad
