New Zealand Internship Program

Program Overview

An internship in New Zealand allows interns to experience firsthand the ingenuity and creativity that has made this country a global innovator and is an ideal location for those seeking internships in the fields of engineering, architecture, veterinary science, ecotourism and adventure recreation.?

Highlights

  • Gain real world work experience with a full-time internship (minimum 32 hours per week) in pre-established positions for 8 weeks (summer) or 12 weeks (semester) 
  • Live in Auckland, New Zealand's largest city and business hub. Or you can live throughout the country with placements available in locations such as Wellington, Dunedin and Palmerston North 
  • Discover the North Island’s coolest spots during a 4-day Orientation that includes stops at some of the region’s most unique landscapes and even Hobbiton

The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) – established in 1995 – are study abroad and intern specialists in the Asia Pacific region with semester and summer programs available in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, China and Japan.
