BI Norwegian Business School

Location:  Norway is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean and Finland to the east. Oslo, the capital of Norway, is the largest city in Norway with a population of over 550,000.  Surrounded by wilderness, Oslo is the perfect location for outdoor adventure including sailing, hiking and skiing.

The University:  The Norwegian School of Management, also known as BI, is the largest business school in Norway and the second largest in Europe.  BI's state of the art campus is home to over 9,000 students, including 700 international students from more than 72 countries.  BI boasts the three most prestigious international accreditations for business schools and has entered the prominent group of business schools with a "triple crown", which besides AACSB includes the European EQUIS and the British AMBA accreditations.

Student Visas:  US students must possess a US Passport to enter Norway.  US students are not required to obtain a student visa prior to entering Norway, but must obtain a resident permit with the Norwegian police within 7 days of entering the country.  Student Visa Process Details

Fun Facts:  The world's largest population of arctic reindeer herders can be found in Norway. The most useful Norwegian inventions are the cheese slice, the paper clip and the string vest. Famous Norwegians include Edward Munch, Henrik Ibsen, Leiv Eiriksson, and Marilyn Monroe.
