UTA - Japan Design in Context

DATES:
  • Travel Dates: March 8 - 17
  • Class Dates:  Regular Spring Semester
 
COURSE:  3 credits total
  • ART 4392: Special Studies: Japan Design in Context
  • Prerequisite (for Visual Communications majors):  ART 2304: Digital Media, or instructor permission
 
ITINERARY: Program is based in JAPAN. Cities may include Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, and/or Hiroshima.
 
COST: Program Fee of approximately $2,200 + UTA Tuition
  • Program Fee INCLUDES: Housing in hotel, local transportation, estimated cost of food, entrance fees to museums and other sites for program activities
  • Does not include: Airfare (estimated $1,730), required UT System Study Abroad Insurance ($38 for two weeks), UTA Study Abroad Application Fee ($75), and incidentals
  • Financial aid is applicable, and students can apply for the  International Education Fee Scholarship (IEFS) and other scholarships for study abroad.
