Program Description:
Parsons Paris: The New School

 

Parsons Paris is the European branch campus of Parsons, The New School for Design in New York City. Located in the heart of Paris, the school is housed in a beautifully renovated historic building, a short walk from the Louvre.

In keeping with the long tradition of excellence associated with the Parsons name, Parsons Paris provides design instruction with an emphasis on the importance of social context, cultural understanding, and sustainable practices. This approach provides for a truly interdisciplinary experience. SAI is proud to be the exclusive partner to offer semester study abroad programs at Parsons Paris.

Undergraduate studies are offered in the following areas:

  • Art & Design History and Theory
  • Art, Media, and Technology
  • Fashion Design
  • Strategic Design and Management

SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, visa preparation, housing, student health insurance, transcripts and cell phone service. In addition, SAI provides comprehensive student services, beginning with pre-departure and leading to our on-site orientation.
