Program Description:
GTL
The Georgia Tech-Lorraine program is highly competitive and usually fills up prior to the application deadline.  Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible; please contact the UTA Study Abroad Office for application procedures.  

Location:  
Because of its strategic location, Metz has been for centuries as it is today, a central hub of Europe.  Since the early 1990s, Metz has become a European center for high technology with high tech companies, universities and research laboratories.

The University:  Established as Georgia Institute of Technology's first international campus in 1990 in Metz, France, Georgia Tech-Lorraine is a highly innovative institution offering year-round undergraduate, masters, and PhD program and is home to a strong sponsored research program through the Unite Mixte Internationale (UMI), and international joint laboratory between Georgia Tech and the French Centre Nationale de la Recerche Scientifique (CNRS).

Student Visas: In addition to a valid US passport, all students must obtain a French Student Visa in order to participate in the fall or spring semester program.  Students will apply for this visa after they have been accepted to the program.  Student Visa Process Details
