Yonsei University


The Yonsei University exchange program is competitive, and enrollment is limited.  Interested students are encouraged to apply early.

Location:
  Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is the second largest metropolitan area in the world with a population of over 23 million.  Seoul is also the economic and cultural center of South Korea, bustling with many parks, historical sites, and markets.

The University: Yonsei University, the oldest university in Korea, is internationally recognized as one of the most innovative and globalized universities in the world.  The spacious, quiet, and well-wooded campus is located just 20 minutes away from the Seoul metropolitan area.

Courses Offered:  Courses are offered in English in a wide range of disciplines.  Students with a high proficiency in Korean may also take courses taught in Korean.  Full Course Details

Student Visas:  In addition to a US passport, all students must obtain a valid Korean Student Visa.  Students will apply for this visa after they have been accepted into the program.  Student Visa Process Details

Fun Facts:  South Korea is about the same size as the state of Indiana, is the largest ship builder in the world, has the world's highest estimated national IQ, and was the creator of the world's first cloned dog.
