Has your decision to study abroad fit into your graduation plan?
Yes. The classes fit seamlessly into my degree program.
Why did you decide to study abroad?
I wanted to expand my horizons and discover the world, while earning academic credit. I also have a passion for traveling, and am determined to see the world.
What was the most exciting experience in studying abroad?
I loved being able to travel to Austria for the weekend, and then go to Slovakia for the afternoon. It is so easy to travel to nearby countries and see a new part of the world, all in one study abroad program.
How is life in your host country (the country you studied in) different from life in Arlington?
There is a train and subway system in every town, so no need to drive anywhere. You can take trains from Berlin to many places in Europe. People are friendly, especially if you know some German words. Germans are also crazy about their football (soccer).
Do you have any advice for future study abroad students?
Do it! Studying abroad is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have in college!
